Hello..! Please..!
ReplyDeleteA have a question that is worrying me since some weeks now. My question falls under Common Law.
How common is the Common law legal system..?
We apologies for the late response. Our services were temporally unavailable
DeleteNow to your question
It is important for you to specify the territoriality of your question : in this case, we're talking about England or Cameroon
By "common", we don't mean "ordinary" or "simple " but rather the degree of applicability " in respect to its subjects.
In England, there's a fused administration between common law and Equity such that both legal systems are VERY COMMON in England. But in Cameroon, common law is not common in respect to the entire national territory since it is applicable to NW & SW Regions only. And worst still, it is applicable only when the national laws are silent etc
Hope that helps
